The book is written in the hopes of providing inspiration to support workers who are considering a person -centred approach and also of providing interest and illumination to the more general reader. All stories and exampleas in this book are from the lives of people supported by Getta Life, a not-for-profit, a non-govermental body set up in 2001 offering dedicated help to those with learning difficulties.
